255The Amber Vault. On the floor before you is an array of flaming runes. The skeletons of demons are fastened to the wall. Flame lines the edges of the room and heat sears your face0255%.SECRET..ENTRANCE..TO.ICE..CATHEDRALLEADS.TO...DEMON...CRYSTAL255A large statue of a fire demon stands here. He holds a large scimitar in his hand and his eyes seem to follow you02551255A huge fire blazes in front of you and in the middle can be seen a large stone archway and the form of a huge fire demon. A single passageway leads into the fire and a fiery snake with ruby eyes guards it1902553Xeres speaks in a voice that bellows throughout the City- 'Woe the mortal who stands in my way for Death shall follow swift my hand...'5Xeres looks down on you and speaks- 'So you have found me. Killing me will not end the destruction. There is something bigger here your mortal minds cannot understand. If you kill me all of Ymros will eventually go down with me'590903087912553Through the archway you see the town of Idlewood. With Xeres dead it seems much more peaceful but for some reason your mind is not at rest. You have completed your quest but yet you feel it is incomplete255This is the entranceway to a beautiful cathedral with a high vaulted ceiling carved entirely out of glistening ice. Unfortunately a portion of the entrance caved in many centuries ago blocking the passage02551255The voices of ghosts a thousand years old speak from a haunted grave- 'You are a fool! Your god is dying and still you pray' 'He still is strong. Find me a god who can break these walls and I shall worship him instead'02551255'Long have I quested and at a volcano a spirit conquered my mind. It is a spirit as old as time. It once was strong but defeated and rests now regaining power. Behold its power'. Images of fire and pain engulf the senses02551255Fast heartbeats echo in your mind. The ghost speaks 'O Dark One whose power is so great- I cannot worship thee. Instead I offer to you as sacrifice an old fool who cannot see a candle in shadows.' A blade. Pain. The heartbeats stop02551255You are in the library of the temple. A few scrolls still lie around02551255The Altar Room. A large altar made of glowing blue ice is against the southern wall. The ice of the other walls is carved with drawings of the creation of the universe and the passage of time02551255To the south is a door carved of ice. It is very cold but seems impervious to fire. Beyond the door can be seen a large room025512The Lair of the Ice Dragon. A large dragon with icy blue scales glares at you with anger. Even his eyes seem to eminate a biting chill1762551255This small room of the Ice Cave is occupied by a Yeti- a large biped with thick white fur and red eyes. Something seems to glisten in the corner1722551255This room is filled with sand and its walls are painted to depict a desert landscape. Two huge fiery snake-like creatures jump out of the sand290902551255A feeling of dark power eminates from the room. Runes carved by lightning or fire cover the walls0255%...AT....COMETFALLCAST.THE.SPELL.TO.BREAK.MY..BINDING255On either side of you are twenty foot high walls of fire. A Fire Elemental guards the room1392551255Magical snow falls all around the party and you are chilled by a biting cold. An ice demon with dull blue eyes moves forward to attack1452551255'Welcome fools! The temple was made entirely out of blocks of translucent ice and was once very beautiful but huge chunks of ice now lie cracked and scattered about.02551255The Crystal Cave. This is a cave carved out of a large glacier at the base of the mountain. Icicles hang from the ceiling and the walls glisten with reflected light02551255Before you can be seen two ghosts speaking to each other. One appears to be a kind-looking priest while the other is a large evil looking man. They appear to have been arguing when you entered02551
